History of the P.L.C.C.A., Inc. All S.T.A.R.S.  Mentoring Program

The All S.T.A.R.S. (Students That Achieve Real Success) Mentoring Program (A.S.M.P.) was launched in 2005 as a component of the All S.T.A.R.S. After School Program in the Youth Services Division.   A.S.M.P. is funded by the U.S. Department of Education through a $700,000 grant to mentor 90 students in grades four through eight.  The A.S.M.P. is designed to augment academic, emotional, and social support to students on the “brink of  success.”
