With childcare being recognized as one of the top three barriers individuals face today, The Debra Ann Porter Scholarship Fund will be awarded to selected individuals who meet a specific criteria who are seeking higher education in the field of early childhood development. Debra Ann Porter committed her life to the nurturing & well rounded development of her four children academically, physically & spiritually. It is in her memory that this scholarship fund has been established along with The Debra Ann Porter 24/7 Childcare Center scheduled to open this fall. The Debra Ann Porter 24/7 Childcare Center will provide the highest standard of childcare services for families and their children aroun the clock. Individuals who receive Debra Ann Porter Scholarships and complete their degree requirement in early childhood education will be provided an opportunity to interview for any suitable position within The Debra Ann Porter Childcare Center.
