WHO WE ARE

Weed and Seed targets neighborhoods hardest hit by crime, violence, and eroding social and economic status. Weed and Seed is designed to rid (weed) target areas of violent criminals, provide prevention, intervention and treatment services for substance abuse and other social problems, and revitalize (seed) the community through housing and economic development. The four elements that make up Weed and Seed are law enforcement; community policing; prevention, intervention and treatment; and neighborhood restoration. PLCCA has been recognized by the Department of Justice as a premiere Weed & Seed site.
