Providing a Hand Up Outreach Event

"Providing a Hand Up" is a monthly outreach initiative hosted by PLCCA’s Violence Prevention Team. Held on the last Friday of every month, this event connects Proviso-Leyden Township residents with essential resources designed to address systemic challenges and co-occurring health issues, helping to alleviate the daily pressures faced by our community. PLCCA's staff offers food, donation clothing, hygiene items, and education on PLCCA's wrap-around services.
