The PLCCA Men’s Power Group is a transformative initiative dedicated to fostering opportunity, unity, and sustainable growth within the Proviso-Leyden Cluster. By providing a dedicated forum for open dialogue, the program empowers residents to confront and solve the most pressing issues facing their neighborhoods.
Under the visionary leadership of executives Rashad Williams and Lundy Swilley, the Reimagine Violence Prevention Team has achieved significant milestones, most notably reclaiming 10th Park as a sanctuary of peace and safety for local youth.
Beyond physical spaces, the team is successfully bridging the generational divide, cultivating a vital connection between the community’s "elder statesmen" and its younger residents. This mission is driven by a committed team of professionals, including: John Arbo, Program Manager, Charles Peden, Case Manager, Shannon Fields, Victim Service Worker, Pat Hroboski, Antony Greenhow, and Lance Harris, Street Outreach Workers.
Together, they are not just preventing violence—they are reimagining a stronger, more connected community.

Men's Power Group Participants enjoy connecting with the young through sports and physical activity.
