Before the sun rises and the world begins to stir, one determined mother makes the same courageous decision each day to keep pushing forward for the future she envisions for her children.

For five years, she has partnered with the PLCCA EHS Program, ensuring that her three children—two currently enrolled—arrive each day ready to learn, grow, and succeed. She believes wholeheartedly that attendance matters, and that consistency today builds opportunity for tomorrow.

As a single mother balancing the demands of work and family, she has remained steadfast in her pursuit of stability and growth. With the support of reliable childcare through PLCCA EHS, she courageously returned to school, determined to create new opportunities for herself and her family.

Her hard work and perseverance are paying off. On April 16th, she proudly earned her Medical Assistance Certification. Even while attending school, she continues to work overnight assisting clients with memory challenges - demonstrating compassion, strength, and an unwavering commitment to serving others.

She carries both her roles, mother and professional—with grace, resilience, and faith. Her words reflect the foundation of her journey:

“Be patient, look to God, and things will work out.”

Her story is more than a milestone—it is a testament to what happens when dedication meets opportunity and support. It reminds us all that when families are empowered, dreams are not just imagined, they are achieved.
